Hi! My name is Shiraz Arfa. Artist and designer, learner and explorer. Born in Barcelona, 1992.

SHAZ is, and always has been, my safe space to share my art practice where I explore the concept of slowness and the handmade in an era of instant gratification and mass production.

Central to my practice is the act of playing; It enables an engagement with the moment, relying on intuition and, most importantly, allowing a sense of freedom to explore processes and techniques, blurring the line between childlikeness and sophistication.

I do what I do, and I will continue doing it until it no longer brings me joy.
